A Friend In Need

Not too much to say here folks, just trying to take down my Rememberance Day journal as delicately as possible.
*sigh* I have so much I want to share, like a slew of new comission hungry artists to pimp and the glorious Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation, but there's something more important I've been hesitant to share.
known IRL as Darby Lebrun, is a friend of mine from the good old early days of my time on DA. She also hasn't been seen by her family since July '07.

scroll down to see the full newspaper story, the follow up articles, and most importantly, a photo of Darby.Now, I don't want sympathy, I don't want hugs, and I don't want support. *I* don't need any of those things.
What I *DO* need is for everyone to print that photo of Darby out, memorize it, and if you *ever* see her in the street tell her you're a friend of Zerry of dA and offer her a place to crash so she can start making her way back home. Or at least tell her that she has a lot of people very, very worried about her.
Fun and games will be back next journal, I promise.
Edit: God, two years now... I hope you're safe Darby, because this is killing us...

I hope she's found and taken in, and the 'manager' arrested for kidnapping, false imprisonment, and any other law as happens to apply n the state she's in right now.

I dearly hope she is returned home safe and sound - there is a new york times article about these gangs and many, many other websites and none of the news is pretty!
Damn it just makes me want to shadow my daughters every minute of the day lol!!!
